ok so im getting a tach and need some ideas of where to put it..the most ive seen is to the right on the dash and thats probably what ill do but i was wondering if anyone knew of different places to put it and maybe to hide it a little more..thanks
Ryan ... do you have a side shot of that upr bracket? I was thinking of using that but Im not to sure I like it from the passanger view.
thanks..if i put it to the left of the wheel can a gauge pod still be used on the pillar?
Just curious, how much does the UPR bracket cost? And how does it mount to the dash?
Scott
Mines' wedged between the dash on the A-pillar and there's a small piece of double sided tape keeping it from moving (doesn't move at all)...
Here is mine. BTW, I don't have those gauges above the radio anymore, I finally forked over the $65 for that piece of crap bezel that goes around the factory gauge cluster. The gauge studs are too long and hit the clear cover for the factory gauges. I had to cut the stud on the back of my $200 auto meter gauges to get them to fit properly . I also have my HVAC controls back up where they are suppose to be. I will tell you one thing, you WILL NOT miss the shift light come on with it there, that is for sure.

Your guage setup is exactly what I want to do. How big of a PITA was it to setup the speedo to get it accurage and any issues with the fuel level setup? I see you did what I was thinking about doing for blinkers/warning lights. Was there any "legal" issues with inspections for street use since it is not a stock speedo and the warning lights are not ID-10-T lights.
My personal problem is I do not know if I want to go with the single 5in with a speedo or the 2 3in and get a new tach. I must say seeing the single 5in speedo looks really sharp .
wow..i really like that setup..how did you mount your tach?
