Many who've known me well over the years have told me I have the tendency to tell peeps how to make a watch when all they wanted to know was the time of day Hey ... I guess I can't help it I've taken several of those tests about what makes you tic and They always come back and say ... I should be teaching something Hey ... I feel I do my friends an injustice by just answering one Q cause I know if I invest just a bit more time with them today They'll be able to answer a similar Q tomorrow ... for themselves Now having said all that ... I'm sure ya'll have seen this quoted “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime” I'm certainly in agreement with that :Word: H O W E V E R I saw something similar the other day “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to use the Net and he won't bother you for weeks.” Have we become T H A T isolated or Was that guy just really really busy Grady
That's awesome. Next time I get a PM, I'm simply gonna provide a link to search engine. It's a new era. Some folks are kinda getting isolated in terms of personal contacts. But were it not for the interweb, I'd not 'know' all you fine gents. I kinda wondered if the same thoughts popped-up when the phone was invented (Grady, you were around back then. Thoughts? Just kiddin Oh-wise-one! ). Folks probably thought that the phone was very impersonal too.
I don't know about everybody else but I've met quite a few good people over the Internet (StangNet), sage2k and The Green GT to name a couple. The Internet is cool but I'd much rather know someone in person. Wes
Absolutely not my friend. I actually try to be as thorough as I can in my replies to folks - I just thought the search engine joke was funny.
Hey ... Its the new 08 Camaro with the modified grill I'm sure they'll outsell Stangs ... This Time Grady
