Tell a Fake cluster from a real

    For the 94-98 200MPH speedos how can you tell the difference from a fake or a real one? I purchased one from a person i really trust but I want to make sure. Right now I don't have a car I can put it into and check. Anything internal I can look for?

    I cant tell you for sure but 00-04 Saleen Guages have the SALEEN on both guages and are a full cluster not just an overlay. Hope that helps...

    Certainly looks right to me, guage clusters are pretty darn hard to fake. I bet it's real.

    They have been selling the overlays for years. They are pretty easy to fake. The best way to tell is to install it and check the accuracy of the speedo.

    I can say that this one isn't an overlay. I was hoping someone would now like a part number I should look for or anything.
