when i start my car up after letting it sit for a while it'll run really crappy..the tach will jump around to up around 2500..give it some gas and the enine hesitates something bad..could this be due to bad timing?? ive changed the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and dumped some sea foam into a full tank of gas to try and clean stuff up in the lines and everything..it says its supposed to stop engine hesitation...a guy at work said i might have just got some bad gas..that it might not have been completly pure or something..either way its gettiing really bad and i would really like not to take it back to the shop for a 3rd week in a row for 3 different things..

    Try these things:

    Adjust TPS
    Clean IAC
    Replace Fuel Filter
    Check/Set Timing

www.projecthp.ford23.com if you dont know how to do any of those things.

It is the timing! I just fixed the exact same problem. It was my timing belt and the timing itself. So before you go wasting money on all these parts check the timing. But in your case, im 99.9% sure that its your timing. Try it and lemme kno the results.
