Was this option available on all of the 05+ Mustang GTs or did it start at 06, 07, 08? Also, if anyone could post some pics of this option that would be great!

I have that package, and while it seem'ed kinda expensive, it looks nice and I'm sure that over the long run that it makes the interior look nicer. So I'm glad I got it.

It started in 07, For only $350 I think it's a pretty great deal. The leather wrapped dash lip, center console and door armrests really add to the interior a lot. The pedals and shifter knob make the car a bit nicer as well.

I have the same package as PoopDawg and do like it a lot. My one criticism is of the shift knob. It looks great, but even though it's aluminum, it's freezing cold in winter when you get in the car, and it's burning hot in summer!

I have it too and love it. Well worth the money. I think 2007 was the first year for it.

Yeah, the shifter knob does get hot and cold... But I have a Hurst now, so I no longer use that knob.

The "premium" interior will be standard on the 09's GT's according to Ford. They are ditching the "deluxe" nomenclature as well.

    Thanks for the info everyone.

What's with the grey dash "applique" or whatever you call it? The piece that runs the width of the dash. I thought it's normally a satin aluminum color with the interior upgrade package? Or does this darker one come as part of the premier trim?

No, it's another option, woven charcoal aluminum instrument panel. Makes the car look 100% better with the charcoal leather interior IMHO.

Yeah, it does look GREAT in the pics combined with the charcoal leather seats and trim.

Dan, can you post some more pics of your car or mail me some if possible? My email is icanhasinternets@yahoo.com

Your car sounds like the exact setup I want, even the spoiler delete. Thanks!

The only pics I have right now are here, but I'll have some more (better) pics soon. Yeah, when I looked at all the options I knew I had to have the car just like this, and had to wait eight weeks to get the damn thing too.

The charcoal dash is optional for all Mustangs.

I actually hadn't seen either the Charcoal or Aluminum before I started shopping (one day before I purchased mine). I don't even remember what the car I test drove had. I thought I wanted the aluminum, but the car I took off the dealer lot ended up having charcoal and I am really glad. I like the look a lot better personally.

I have often wondered how the stitched leather dash looks compared to the stock plastic. I have never seen it in person.

Is the leather stitched dash really much better... (those that have it)?

I don't recall seeing the option to upgrade that.

I think its something you could easily look over if you aren't paying attention, but once you are aware, its difficult to deal without.

The extra leather def. makes the car look a lot better inside. Just less plastic. The dash is really just for looks, but the arm rests are so much more comfortable.

I'd say it's worth it, makes the interior look a lot less cheap IMHO.

Anyone know if this can be added? I am interested in the dash and armrest covers in particular. I have the woven charcoal option and I think it would look even better with the leather dash.
