As some of u might have watched the Idols just got their GT verts. This was the second season of Idol that I have watched and enjoyed it very much. I was hoping thru the whole season that they would get mustangs again like last seasons winners. Congrats Taylor Hicks!
I did not prefer this season at all. How many idols can america really have? I was glad to see that LOST was scheduled to air right through the last hour of filler programing. I am happy that they got free mustangs though.
I love the 'Bold Moves' commercial with the son and dad in the parking lot doing Brodies!!! I finally saw the plug for 0-60 in 4.9!
I've missed the 0-60 in 4.9, but I also love the "Dad" comercial. Makes me want to run out and buy a new mustang everytime I see it.
A little off topic but I had a GTO pull up along side me and I really wanted to run through the gears but they were oblivious to me and my stang next to them. I wanted to see what numbers the GTO put up and on Pontiacs site they have the GT's 0-60 at 6.1!! WTF? All the comparisons were with auto trannies but 6.1 vs 4.9 seems like a huge difference between manual and auto if that is the case. I also understand the 0-60 will vary as well but 1.2 second difference IMO is huge.
