Thanks. I've had the FRs on for about a year now.
This weekend I was going to go down and have them swapped out for the Y2ks but we've had a huge rain storm roll through and now I'm having second thoughts. Go figure...

    Cobra R's. I'm a bit biased, though:

i was never much of a fan of black wheels on black cars. just blends in too much and doesn't give it any character. might be my computer screen, but i can't even tell what wheels those are...

    cobras FTW!

Thanks. Rs will be going on this week, weather permitting. Now I'll need to get bigger brakes since since they'll be more visible, lol.
I may have to sell the FRs to suppliment the purchase. I saw that Baer has a Eradispeed +1 setup for the rears that would give me a bracket to allow me to use my stock rear caliper, by moving it out and 2-13" rotors for around $250.
It would be cool if they offered the same type of bracket relocation & discs for the fronts but I didn't see any. They have a set up for the 2005s and up though. :nonono:

    Hi. I'm in...Delaware.
I would definitely throw the Rs back on. I find that I'm starting to like FR500 wheels less and less these days.

Wheel swap decision update for you

The main reason I wanted to swap was it seemed that everyone & their Grandma are running some sort of black wheel and some look pretty cheesy. There are tons of imitators out there. And a lot of people that "try too hard". Althoiugh there are some really nice wheels out there, I wouldn't put a non-Ford specific wheel or rep wheel on my ride though. I think that's where people can get screwed up.

But the more I thought about it, and the philosophy I have is: if they are the right black wheels, on the right car, then you could pull it off.

I decided to keep the FRs on. I'm glad that I didn't put the Y2Ks on earlier last week like I planned to. It gave me more time to rethink everything.

I think they work on my ride...

I like the deep dish rears of the FR's, so youre good either way IMO. Plus, I think your Y2Ks would need some spacers in the rear anyway...
