03 Cobra Convertible - Brand New, never been titled
    10th annivesary pkg

    $30k + sales tax.

It stickers for $40,900, and this is just dealer discount, xplan was not going to be any cheaper.

Is that a decent deal, my dad is looking at getting it, just making sure they dont have some crazy incentive program that is still allowing the dealership to make thousands off the sale.

Yeomans would have sold me the exact same car for $31.5k in March. Id try to work them a little more cause it is an 03. Then again, maybe you really like that anniversary package.

There was an 03 10th anniversary w/ 800 miles here and they were only asking 26k, so I'm sure they sold it for less!!

That seems a bit much, I wouldn't pay over $27K. It has been sitting there a long time.

Well, remember guys its a convertible and it stickered at $40k, so $10k off sticker is not insignificant.

Part of it also is that they are being very generous with the trade-in. They are giving $9k for his 00 GT 5 speed, and it has been in an accident & has a random 3rd gear grind. Thats 5k more than any other dealership was offering, so thats part of the deal also.

Sounds like a pretty good deal considering the GT's condition.

I personally feel that is a little steep on that car! Hell they gave me 5g trade in on my 95 automatic car that was wrecked for a used 01 IMPALLA LS last year!

Our MUSTANG had 145,xxx miles as well! Your buying twice the mark up car and should get way better trade in value! Not to mention our car broke down when they test drove it! :rlaugh:

Tell them $28k and see what they say. Be ready to buy though, in case they agree.
