hey i think its a good deal but i will just see what u guys think.

I have been in the market for a good t5 latley, wanting to spend around 4-500 on a good working t5 that will drive good daily but still take a little spirited driving on the side.

I ran across i deal locally. This guy is selling a rebuilt t5 with the D&D peformance 2.95 gearset, with the hardened gears and the good stuff.
A steeda tri-ax and a 100 mile KC clutch all for 800$ The t5 has about 500 miles. He said he ran 12.50s on this t5 without a problem, reason he took it out is because his setup got real powerful and didnt want to destroy a good tranny.

I was thinking its a good find, since i need a good tranny, my car isnt all that radical at all so i think this t5 will hold up well for what i have and what i plan to do. I have also been needing a good short throw, but been too worried about my head porting project and getting my motor done to get one. And i dont really need a clutch, but its got 100 miles so i can have it to put in my car once my current clutch dies.

i think i may go for it. Will put my motor back a bit, will use all my bday and tax money to get it. but think of it this way, what good will it do me to have a nice rebuilt motor thats strong and then have a crappy ass t5 behind it that will break someday.

As long as it comes with the KC clutch and Tri-ax, i think it would be a good deal.

That;s about $350ish in parts right there.

If you can trust that the trans is in good shape, i would go for it.

The biggest question will be the condition of the transmission. Still seems like a good deal to me though.
