Does this sound right? With the new (2 hours after install) tires, no clean up, etc...The tires seem a little slippery on day one (it did rain most of the day) Then took it to a local 1/8th mile track for tuning day. Here are my Race notes. No rain on track for 4-5 hours, humidity 88%, temp 92f, no wind.

1st round - 2500 rpm, dumped clutch, WAY too much spin. No water or burn out before launch. Terrible R/T (.767) 60' was 2.97, 330' time 6.73, ET is embarassing 9.8 w/ 77.25 mph :(

    2nd round - 3500 rpm, eased clutch out...no hook. R/T 2.45 sec, 330'6.2, Still way too much spin. ET of 9.3 at 77.8 2-3 shift awful) :(

    3rd round - Watered, spun hard for a half sec, 4000 rpm launch with small spin - hook, then 2.2 60' time, 330' 6.3, ET hits 9.03 @ 85.96 w/ missed 2-3 shift

4th round - Watered, spun hard for half sec, 3500 rpm lauch, very small spin, Hook up with RT of .193, '60 sec of 2.04, 330' time of 5.38, ET of 8.86 at 88.6 mph easing off on 2-3 shift?

5th round - Watered, spun hard less than .5 sec, 3000 rpm launch, very small spin, slight engine bog :nonono: then HOOK UP, Reaction Time .341, 60' in 1.93, 330' in 5.60, then ET of 9.154 at 73 mph (&$%#^@ totally missed 2-3 shift)

I want to throw the stock shifter in the trash
    :bang: :bang:  :nonono:
