No they don't work. Spinning air can sometimes cause it to be drawn into the engine slower than if allowed to go straight in so you can actually hurt performance. They don't tell you that on the infomercial though
A tad north of center city. around 35th and market. originally from the burbs north west of philly. what about u?
You just have to think... car companies spend billions trying to improve the fuel economy of their vehicles, so if something that simple worked, dont you think ALL our cars would already have it?!
Very true but im not saying if they work or not. From what everyone says here i dont think buying one would be a good idea, but... Why aren't all cars installed with higher flow panel filters like the K&N?
Either in bordentown NJ or when I stay in philly, off Lindbergh by the new post office(SW near the airport)
Filters like the K&N aren't put in due to cost. Paper filters are so cheap to manufacture vs. the cotton? K&Ns. The reason why you don't see CAIs is due to air intake noise. The tornado is a joke. I love the 2L coke bottles example, wherein the fluid is fighting to go the bottom, and the air is fighting to go to the top. There are opposing forces there. How does the principle of the Tornado even come close to that?
I didnt notice this before but you have a pretty nasty GT it looks like and your asking about a Tornado? Come on now!
The tornado would be for my kia. You know what i really just wanna buy the thing for my kia and take it to a dyno and atleast see if it does somthing and give it a straight up test. But,.... i rather save my money My Gt is almost done just waiting on a date for the tune and pressure plate to come in. will be posting results soon
Ohhh wait they offer a 30day guarantee/return policy. So Maybe I'll dyno the thing, find out what my kia's fwhp is w/ and w/ out the thing and then return it. well,....i rather not pay for the dyno pulls either damn
