i need some tips/ advice on how to use touch up paint to get a good smooth looking result. i went to pep boys and got the pen 2 in 1 min gray touch up and used it on 2 little chip spots, and the color is perfect but it dosent look smooth at all, you can still notice the spots pretty easily. also, how do u use it for small scratches, cause the way the chips came out im not gonna try to paint over any scratches.. it looks like crap

Duplicolor sells a kit that has a sanding block, polish and a tube of clearcoat. You fill the chip with paint, let it dry, sand it down even with the rest of the paint, polish out the sanding scratches, and clearcoat it if you wish. Just be careful with the sanding. The kit is about $15.
