Tranny Swap

Hey all my friend has a 2002 Mustang GT. He just totaled out his car and i was wondering will the tranny fit my 89 Mustang 5.0. I was thinking the bellhousings to the motor are different, but the tranny to bellhousingings should be the same. Anyone ever do this swap or know if itll work? I need to know kinda fast cause I need to get it done by this friday before they take the car away. Any help is appreciated.

Don't think it will fit without modification, since the 94 and 95 are different, input shaft wise.

Ok so the clutch fork needs to be swapped and the drive shaft legnthed by 5/8" of an inch. Is there anything else that needs to be done?
