I have been noticing that my trans has been leaking. At first I thought it was my rear main seal but it is really the trans and it is leaking by the flywheel access hole and also the tail shaft. Which gaskets would need to be replaced and how much am I looking at for this to be done? Also it is an AODE that was rebuilt with hardened gears, PI torque converter and shift kit about 2 years ago.

I would say that the price of the gaskets isn't going to be too much, its going to be all labor. A good mechanic could probably have them changed in 2-3 hrs so I'd say probably between $200 and $300.

In a side note, were you on Watchung Ave yesterday going into Bloomfield around 1:30? I was in my brother's Jeep and I think I saw you.

Yeah I was going to my friends shop to get my tires put on so I might be able to pass inspection.
