has anyone tried out the comfort handle for the triax shifter?i think it might be good since the handle is closer to the driver.i feel that i have to stretch with the standard handle that comes with the triax for third and fifth gears.what are your opinions?

Not real sure what the comfort handle is, but I have what I believe is the regular handle, and I really like it.

its another handle made by steeda for the triax which is designed with a curve in the handle ,sort of s-shaped ands the handle is closer by a couple of inches to your body hence you don't have to lean over to hit third or fifth gear.you can see the shifter handle on steeda.com about 40 bucks.

Now that I look at it, I have the one that has the top that bends back. It was the handle that came with the shifter when I ordered it. I like it alot! :nice:

i think i'll buy it just to try it out.if i don't like it, it's easy enough to take it off and put the other handle that it came with back on.it comfort one looks a little longer so the shifts probably wont be as close due to the length of the handle traveling further.i guess for racing the shorter one will be better but for daily driving the comfort one might be better.the guy that designed it has a cobra and that is the car he tested it in.

I have the regular tri-ax handle and like it, but I have long arms. If it were any closer my elbow would hit the console when I shift.
