I have just installed trickflow head, cam intake, 24 injectors, longtubes
right now it has a stock cobra tune and honestly the driveability seems perfect
although ive only driven it up and down the road 3-4 times. No surging, no bucking, nothing.
from 0 to 3krpm it feels real strong, but after 3krpm it feels like a dog
i think its cause the cobra tune has real low timing
what kind of timing does the trickflow kit like?
I unfortunately dont have a wideband right now, but am seriously considering one very soon when $$ is better.

I just did the same setup and started her for the first time a couple hours ago. Iam running 10 degrees timing as per what t/f recommended. Feels pretty solid. I think there is something else wrong buddy. If anything it should feel stronger after 3k. My car is a 93. Did you set your fuel pressure regulator to about 38 psi with vacuum disconnected?

36 total advance ... give or take a few :D

Aluminum heads can at times want more :)

You will just have to see what your particular combo likes ;)

Well being that he is going to tune with the tweecer, base timing needs to remain at 10*, and he need to adjust his spark tables to his particular combo, but as grady said above AROUND 36* total.
