TSB for TR-3650 Tranny........? FINALLY.....after about 3 mos. I found a ford dealership that will fix my transmission!! Its been grinding into 2nd gear since shortly after I bought it in January . Every dealer I take it to says..."we cant reproduce the problem" .....thats BS! So its at the dealer right now and the service tech just called and said they will be replacing a bushing in the transmission and that there was a TSB for it . The service tech was not very inclined and had no idea what she was talking about so I got no information from her . I was at work and in a rush so I had to go . I am happy to hear they are fixing it but just wonder if antbody knows what "Bushing" she is talking about? Also are there any other TSB's for the TR-3650 tranny I should know about , wasnt there one for a shift fork or somethin"? Thanks!!
ok , I just got my car back and I must say it shifts like a dream!! Turns out they did not replace a single part on the tranny itself . They replaced the quadrant shaft and clutch pedal assembly . I dont know what the hell the service tech was talkin' about!? she was clueless . But anyway the TSB for this is #529043 . I am very pleased with the fix! these are the part #'s used: 1 F4ZZ-7506-A QUADRAN 1 3R3Z-7519-BA PDL ASY 6 B7AZ-2471-B BRKT PD All was covered under warranty!
