Hey I've got an 87 turbocoupe and I've had this problem for a while now. The car runs pretty good, but is a bit off due to this problem. eg. not as smooth running, worse gas milage etc. Anyway I ran the KOEO codes and get 51, which according to Cozz's program, (thanks) means:

"ECT voltage too high (coolant too cold, circa -40degF!). Suspect ECT, harness."

Just to be sure I replaced the ECT sensor but as I suspected it wasn't the sensor. So it's the ect harness??? I'm not sure how this is. I ohmed out the wiring from the sensor and there's no breaks so I'm not really sure what the problem is here.

If anyone has had this problem or knows what I need to do to fix it I'd REALLY appreciate your help A.S.A.P.
I need to go on a trip this weekend, and I don't wanna take an unhealthy bird that far.

    Thanks.

P.S. Yes the engine was fully warmed up prior to running the test.
