ive been searching all night but cant find any thing. But the threads that i did read said to turn off the aode fuctions, but which ones.I did the aode to t5 on my 95 mustang.I still have the aode comp in.What aode fuctions do i need to turn off with tweecer ,so the car can run good.any help will be greatful. thanks Jesse
Now I have no experience in tuning, but it was to my understanding that you could just download the stock 95 GT 5spd Computer file then tune off of that. That way you wont have any auto stuff to worry about. But looking at your sig you mught wanna start with a cobra file, but make sure you import the MAF curve for your meter, and convert it to a 30 pt.
Take the easy way to success here Use the j4j1 as a base or foundation to build upon Search and see how many have had good results with it when they had h/c/i combos similar to yours Grady
agreed 100%. using a manual transmission .bin will eliminate the automatic functions automatically. and by trial and error, i have found the most success when basing my tune off of a j4j1 .bin file.
There are two trans scalers to be modified change both "trans_load" and "trans_strategy" to 0 from 6. Worked flawlessly for me and I still run the stock aode eec. Based on your vrs, the titles may be more descriptive.
By what you said I hope I did not imply to anyone I was advising to procure the actual Cobra J4J1 pcm I wanna make it clear I was talking about uploading the ....... J4J1 cal file to his original supplied auto trans pcm Just making sure I made things ... more clear ... just in case Grady
thanks for the input guys.I started using the j4j1 file and im using that to tune.So far the car likes and I like it. Thanks Jesse
So when I seap to a T5 can I just have the person that burned my chip turn off the functions and not have to swap computers?
