I recently developed a pretty bad tap in my 1989 5.0 GT convertable. What could be wrong with it and what should be my path of elimination?
I don't know if this would make any difference, but when I filled it up (before this problem) I put 87 Octane. This has occurred ever since I filled up and I am thinking possible detenation or pre-tensing to throwing a rod.
Any help would be appriciated.
