Just thought I would share. I just made my order today for the Pypes O/R H pipe, Flowmasters, C&L Racer Intake and Xcalibrator tune all from Brenspeed. I should have it all in 2 weeks or so.

    Looking forward to it!

I absolutely love the feel and sound it makes. The throw from 1st to 2nd is a breeze as is 2nd to 3rd. I have had it on for about a month and it only took me a day or two to get used to it. I know there are probably better shifters out there, but I'm happy with my choice and I love the look of it!

That is one hellua sweet looking car. To me the plain white is just to plain. Yours is done very tastefully:nice: I love the tri bar pony emblems on these cars! They go really well with the rocker stripes.

That's sweet. For my '07, I've been planning on the CS fascia. Haven't decided on a hood. I'll definitely keep that in consideration now, even though the '05 also has that hood.

    I actually like this car.

Are those the stock tail pipes with that valance? I love how it looks. Your car with no wing, would like redic! That hood seems it would annoy me, it appears you have to look over it all the time. But it looks good.

The wings on these cars make the rear look too tall in comparison to with however with no wing, it looks more proportioned.

:jaw: You're on fire! If Simon Cowell were here, he'd like your car too. It looks too good to get anything other than a compliment.

actually, the hood is not bad at all. In fact, the midpoint is great for driving when you're tired because when you "aim" the car so that the midpoint of the raised part appears to touch the right line, you're right in the middle of the road :nice: Like hood ornaments "back in the day". I loved that about my first car, '65 Galaxie. (The 352 was nice too)

Thanks for all the positive comments. The hood definitely does not get in the way. At first it felt different, but after an hour driving I barely even notice the different height. The tail is something I'm going to have to live with although I do like a duck tail spoiler a little better. Hell, I actually like the V6 spoiler somewhat as well. Hey V. Bar...yep those are stock tail pipes with the C/S rear bumper. I am upgrading to Flow Masters though in a week once they arrive.

The only other exterior upgrades I would like to do is the Eleanor style grille elimintating the pony, and a new set of wheels. I can't decide on Chrome Bullitts or Black Bullitts. Either way they will be deep dish.

IMO I like the look of the black wheels on your car. The chrome works as well, just not as well as black I think. Here is a previous pic of your car(had a better side shot to show more of the wheel)with the front wheel black and the rear left chrome. Also used the one with the black rocker panel. The black wheels will help tie in the black from the bumpers.

I'm definitely leaning towards black deep dish wheels for sure. American Muscle has some good prices on their wheels. I just dropped a grand for the intake and exhaust, so I'll have to wait a bit before the boss allows me to go for wheels. :D

Does anyone have a part number on the CS / GT500 rear strakes, and/or a cost? :)

Go to www.fordparts.com. Call them and ask for Ken. He hooked me up with the CS front and Rear. The rear valance on the CS is of course the same as the GT500. It is the full bumper, the difuser is part of the bumper, it's all one piece. I believe I paid less than $300 total for both the front and rear. My uderstanding now though is the cost has doubled. Call him and find out, his prices are the best around, no doubt.

i thought the cs and the gt500 had different rear bumpers, although very similar...correct me if i am wrong but i think the gt500 does not have cutouts for the exhaust i think the pipes just come out under it...and the black diffuser wraps around to the wheel wells..but your car looks awesome and i agree with kooldawg i think black wheels would look great

The GT500 parts are worth buying through Kevin, but apparently the GT/CS parts are as cheap or cheaper through your dealer.
