I noticed this a while back and didnt really think anything of it. But I am currently bored.

So I have some of the green UV dye coming from the fitting on the passenger side fitting (high press I think?)

Is this just a bad valve core?

If so Ill just let it leak. And once its get low, Ill change the core and fill it.

My low pressure side leaks at the fitting, so I just left the hose from my manifold set on with the valve closed. It's worked for over a year now, so that may not be a bad temporary solution for you, too. It does look pretty stupid with the hose on there, but I just can't see having my system evacuated, only to have to replace the entire line, since you can't just do the fitting, so I'll probably keep mine that way until the AC dies again.
