Nice, I like the way the shroud covers the top of the engine. Looks clean. I didnt see how the shaker directed air into the box though.

Also, I didnt see pricing and if it works on a factory hood.

The white car with black stripes looks really sharp with the shaker, blackout panel, and black spoiler.

I just sent them an email, I read somewhere that the shaker hood for the GT only generated a gain of 3HP, so this is probably more of a looks upgrade. Not sure though, so we need to get some info from Fang.

They are actually listed under thier appearance section, so we shall see:

Here is the email I got from them just now:

    Hi Todd,
We have not performed any performance gain numbers on it. We suspect the gain will not be significant. There will be more air available to the factory filter. But with out a computer tune probably won't be that noticeable. We built the functional box so guys could have a functional scoop without voiding any warranties.
Hope this helps. Any thing else I can help you with just let me know.

atleast they are an honest company. but to answer the pricing/function question, its 1250 shipped unpainted. its got quite a few things that go along with it though. How it works...when u open the hood, there is a deuct on each side of the shaker. this routes over the the driver side where there is a square cut out of the sheet metal that closes over the new air box that you get (cut the top open im guessing) and thats how it gets air.

    i'm with you

the shaker looks great, but I am sticking with one of the other more functional hoods. For the money you can do hood plus a little something else.

the only benefit to the price of this setup is that the hood is included.

Love the looks but cant afford it. Thats a lot of money to have someone paint it for me. If I could do it I would.
