what is the difference betweein the v6 and v8 manual transmissions? is it the clutch/flywheel diameter? t45 or t5? im getting confused. Looking for clutch recommendations as well.

    V6 has a T5 and the V8 has a TR 3650 I believe. Different trans.

If you're not making much more horsepower, I'd stick with a clutch that has a stock-like pedal feel. A SPEC Stage 1 should be just fine.

Depending on the year, you may need a new flywheel which will just about double the price.

Mid 2001 V8 Mustangs (except 03+ Cobra/gt500) have had the T-3650, while the V6 has had the T5 since 1994.
