V8 swap tranny problems

    doing a v8 swap and everythings in but the new double hump crossmember wont fit...it is not long enough...i got one from a junk yard and its the same prob....v8 swaps are a common thing.....somebody please help....i wanna drive this thing soon

    What do you mean it's not long enough? It won't bolt in on both sides?

    It would also help if you told us what year you are doing the conversion to?

    yeah it wont bolt in on both sides...its a 91 foxbody originally a 4cyl car that i put in a 5.0 and aod

    crossmember

    it does not bolt in the same spot as the 4 bangers. we had to unbolt the 4 bangers parts. then the v8 crossmember bolts in. i think its in a auto tranny 4 bangers
