vert 1/4 windows not going down

On my dad's 90 vert, the 1/4 windows seem to be stuck and won't go down. When you push the button, you can hear the motor going, but the windows won't move. Anybody else ever have this problem and/or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like the window is out of its track, that happened to my mom's honda accord.

The window motors have plastic ball bearings in the surrounding the drive gear. If you do indeed hear the motors running and the windows don't operate, either the plastic bearings are worn out or the motor has somehow come loose from the regulator, but the first is more likely vs. the last.

In these directions it states...

"Go to the parts store and buy a window gear kit. "

Is that what it is called when the counterperson looks this up in the computer? Window Gear Kit?
