Does anyone know if anyone plans to make a light bar that is also a functional roll bar for the '05/'06 'vert?

Or if anyone plans to just make a plain functional roll bar?

Would make my wife feel a whole lot better. :nice:

I agree that would be nice. plus if you plan on running at a 1/4 mile track I believe you would need one if you go so fast.
I think I read the other day any verts under 13.49 it's required but that might be a local law.

This is the only roll bar I have found so far, but I don't like the way it looks. Keep looking is my suggestion and let me know if you find anything.

I'm a little worried about a roll-bar marked as fitting "1994 to present".

If it truly fits it's not bad. Definitely generic. Wonder how badly it blocks access to the back seat.

Odd that today they have separate categories for "1994-2004" and "2005-present".

I'm planning on contacting them and seeing if they have any documentation available on how it's installed and how it fits (what it blocks)

They did yesterday, too, when I checked it out.

    I got a response:

Looking at their sample install, it definitely would block some access to the back seat, given that it's mounted to the floor...

Wish I could find a picture. It's just not something I can jump on without seeing what the end result will be.

Front occupants should be somewhat protected by the re-enforced windshield in a rollover. Seems like the Autopower rollbar will make the back seat pretty unsafe in any kind of non-rollover collision. I've said this before but it's too bad Ford doesn't make popup rollbars an option--I think they'd find plenty of people willing to pay for it.
