Hi guys, I recently installed a V2 on my car and didn't have the chance of bringing it to the track yet (need to install the DS loop, SBC and change my 26" slicks for 27" ones). I therefore took a video on street tires just for fun... Here's the setup: - Vortech V2 (not aftercooled) - AFM boost pipe - 42lb Bosh injectors - Focus pump - NGK TR6s gapped at 0.030 - Tuned XCal II (by Lasota) - MAC off-road h-pipe - Flowmasters - 75 mm Accufab plenum/TB - 4.10 gear There's no traction in 1st and 2nd gear, but we can get a good idea in 3rd and 4th gear. Video I keep wondering... Is this on the fast side or slow side for the setup? I thought the car would pull more than this w/ 150 whp more than stock.
That wasn't pulling hard enough for you? LOLOL! Sounds killer man. Get some traction though. 4.10s with boost is WOWza
Heheheheh yes it's pulling hard, but it's my first time riding a 300+ whp car and I thought it'd pull like there's no tomorrow. I almost thought something was wrong with the car.
Yea, trust me, I thought i was dissapointed when I first put mine in too. Just putt around next time you're cruising, drop it into 2nd @ 40mph and rip on it. Watch how big you smile when your tach reads 100 and you didn't even try hard...oh and your passenger starts screaming for their life.
