Vin Number Question

    I was looking at Americanmuscle.com vin decoder section for 2000 Mustang and it says the engine code letter should be a W for my car. W=4.6 SOHC WHen i looked at my car it has a X ?? Below is what the site says and heres the first part of my vin. Any thoughts?:shrug: 1FAFP42X6YF

    that info is wrong, the only thing in your vin will be the "X" which tells you it is a 4.6

    nothing in the vin will tell you "Windsor" or "Romeo" that is just bad info
