I've owned my '86 GT for several months now and on two occasions the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and the fuel gauge make a sweep to the right. The oil pressure indicates high, too high, the coolant temperature predicts extreme, damaging heat, and the fuel gauge is off the charts telling me that I have more gasoline than I do. The amp/volt gauge seems perfectly fine and the tach and speedometer are as accurate as the should be.
Could there be a loose connection somewhere or what would be the cause of my gauge malfunction?
