I read on Snow Performance that you can run water-methanol injection on a N/A car. Info I was wondering if anyone has done this or is planning to. A stage 2 kit costs $399.99 Stage 2 kit and does and handful of things. Any info will help. I am just looking at this right now so don't freak out yet.
Seems cool. I may have to do this if it works out for you. How much more timing could you run with this vs. just using a tuner without it? Any gains by just putting it on without advancing the timing?
I have a buddy who is running it in his built 96 cobra but he's boosted and I am staying N/A. I really don't want to be the guiney pig lol
ok you two play rock paper scissors the loser has to use it. tell me how it goes in detail also cause i have thought about using it. k ready 1 2 3 shoot!
I was just on the site checking it out the other night. I may think about getting it next Spring when I do some more mods. I'm not sure though because I have alot on my plate now to get installed like hood, Compucar nitrous, and some audio crappy.
You may be able to run a few more degrees of timing with that kit, but the increase in power will not, IMO, justify the price. IMO, spend your money elsewhere. Most use it for FI.
Those who use it on NA setups are doing so because they have high compresion ratio's and it keeps them from detonation while using pump gas. Another nice thing is you could use regular gas and tune it like your running super because the methanol bumps the octane. Great for those who don't have 93 in their area.
well i guess u lost so order the kit bolt it up and tell us how well ur car runs. if it blows up better luck next time lol.
hahahaha arent we all my friend arent we all. my car made me broke at first and now my bike is starting to dig into my pockets and take all i got. after i get all the race gear full race suit new boots gloves and all there we are looking at around 1500 dollars just getting ready to race thats not including the tires ill burn up every weekend lol. I wish i was bill gates son.
so since some of us live in Cali. and its next to impossible to get a higher octane would that be a good investment ..??
