the lathe will be soon.

and i hope to get some engine machines and head surfacing table

in the next year or two.

my dad was a machinist before he became a full time mechanic about 10 years ago. and i like learning that kind of stuff. im big into the dying arts like leading, pinstriping. and stuff like that. i would rather use old school equipment for personal use but if it is aliving give me something faster.

There is nothing wrong with being able to deck your own parts or clean cut surfaces in your garage. :)

Who knows, you might be the guy to see about custom brackets and hangers in the future.

Lemme know when one of you guys gets a flow-jet or something. I'd like a set of Billet aluminum SN95 spindles. :D
i know of a guy that we do auto work for that has one.:D

some how i know alot of people that have lots of talents and tools:nice:

it comes in nice on most of my projects.

my mini chopper was a custom tube chassis and it has custom rear hand built axles that look alike a real chopper from the outside

You know that most OEM's use billet aluminum bodies durring prototype development to verify fit / finish of interior components? How do I know? I sat in an aluminum 2007 Sebring about 2 years ago when i worked at Chrysler. :)

I made a billet piston once on the mill and lathe. It turned out pretty good.
