ok this is really weird.....i have a boss audio deck and only half of the faceplate (removable) lights up. the screen is fine but only the right half of the keys light up. the buttons work, but it pisses me off
last spring when i first used the radio after it had been sitting all winter, it did this too, but went away after a day or two. For 8 months of daily driving it was fine and i had no problems. now, it is doing it again and a month of the car running (since it sat for 5 months) it has not corrected itself.
today i took the faceplate apart and cleaned the circuit board with crc cleaner but had no luck.
Any ideas?
