Who's all heading there this weekend, I'm on my way after this post. I'll be there with my Grey SVO in about 30 minutes and through out the weekend, the rain is moving it's way out now so hopefully will be racing by noon. :nice:

Heh, I guess nobody went this year! I was going to go but decided to invest that $300 into my engine so I can just get it done.

I will definitely be there next year though.

How'd the weather end up today, I saw that it was raining earlier. At least it's supposed to be nice the rest of the weekend.

the racing didn't get started till about 2 p.m. but it was worth it. And it got freakin cold in the evening, man those turbo cars love cold weather, John Hubers car ran a 10.30 TURBO4, and flanders ran 10.50 on his alky 2.3 turbo and both those guys spun real bad out of the hole.from open comp to pro mod alot people had a hard time hooking up, with 100% humidity and mid 50's temps the track was not optimum, what really impressed me was the turbo diesel trucks 8000lb. one tons running from mid 12's to mid 13's and spinng to the 330 mark. and of course I love the outlaw cars. I talked to Billiy Glidden for about an hour, super nice guy, and hung out with huber and his buddies for awhile and learned alot about our 2.3 turbo's, alot of neat tips and tricks, they are a bunch of good people, and there was a 84 canyon red SVO there running low 11's but never got the chance to check it out in the pits.

I'd like to go next year, if my buddy has his turbo'd 306 '86 running well he might go so I could catch a ride with him. He's into 2.3T's, too...has a nice '84 GT Turbo that I get to drive at All Ford Day if we get the head done by then. :D That was random and pointless, except to say that I might be there next year too. :)
