I want that Boss (I want a 69' Boss but I don't have the bread). Do you guys think they will produce it? Do you think we will have another sticker fiasco like the GT500? What do you think they plan on removing from the interior to make it lighter? Maybe 86 that useless backseat? I'm stoked about it.:D Do any of you think they plan to do a GT350 SC V6 as the rumours say? What about you guys?

Well, lets hope they do and don't mark it up. Although if do they produce it i'm not to optimistic about no markup. If they do make it and sell it with no markup, i'll get rid of my 03 Mach and buy one.

The 2003 Mach 1s are a good example of people going nuts and paying over sticker. I waited for a year and bought a 2003 Mach 1 that had a list price of $29,000 for $24,000, tax included. Many people paid $3,000 and even $5,000 over sticker.
I now have a 2005 Mustang instead of the Mach 1.
I would go for a "special" Mustang of some kind, but at or below sticker price.
I just learned that my Ford dealer is getting a GT 500. I almost wished he wasn't because I don't want to know what it will take to buy it.
The whole world, or at least those with money, has gone crazy.

The one thing I know about that new Boss is it is really going to screw Saleen and their Parnelli Jones car. The Saleen version is going to be priced in the mid to high 50k range for a N/A 302. You can bet the Ford version will be cheaper and they can actually badge it as a Boss.

The Boss would be a great addition to the line. And I'm certain that the excitement and frenzy generated by a limited-edition Mustang will cause dealers to mark up the cars initially because there will be enough people willing to pay that premium to be one of the first to own one. It's really just a reflection on some segments of our society - "I gotta be first".

I would wonder about a SC V6 GT350. I'd wonder how close in performance and price it would be to a GT. I don't think Ford would want to dilute GT sales like that if the cars are comparable. But that's just my $.02.

Well I guess the CS6 that Shelby puts out is pretty much the same thing as the rumored GT350 mentioned above.

How long is Saleen going to make their Parnelli Jones car? I don't think Saleen will still be producing that car whenever Ford is readly to release a Boss (assuming they release one).

I have a personal feeling that a Boss SE or Mach 1 will come out after the run of the GT500, but that is just a guess and my opinion. I would love for a Boss SE to have the 6.2L Hurricane engine that Ford may still develop.

I did well on mine too. I paid $21,772 for mine on A-plan and with rebates that were offered at the time. It stickered at $29,760. Bought an 06 GT a few mo. ago which is the wife's daily driver, Mach's pretty much a garage queen i guess only 8,400 miles. Never paid sticker for a car or truck in my life, much less over sticker.
Like to have a Shelby, or a Boss if they make it, but i'm not going to overpay and be upside down on it. I'll keep the two i got now.

Best part about the boss (in my biased eyes) is the increase in displacement. If it's priced around 35K, I might own one.

No the road where it was parked was sloping on both sides. It made it look like a 4X4 again.
