I just read an article on the Roush Stage 3 Mustang. 400hp and a 13.3 1/4 mile. The GT500 barely breaks into the 12's with 500hp. This looks bad, yet I see us regualr joes strapping on your standard bolt-ons making 330rwhp and running deep into the 12's. What are they tuners doing wrong that we arent? Its not a weight issue with the tuners (the Roush weighs in at 3600lbs).
  2. bigcat start with the upper hole, and if more traction is

Was that the Road and Track article? While the times for both cars are very 'conservative' (read: pathetic), what was interesting is that the Roush Stage 3 matched the GT500 time to 60 mph and was only 2 tenths off in the 1/4 mile. I just installed a Roushcharger on my own car, along with some GT500 intercooler system parts substituted, and I like it a lot so far. I don't really forsee any problems with the 'bolt-on boys' either. Lol, j/k! Here's a pic:

Drag radials! My car will do high 10's with them. It will do 12's with street tires.
