I have a set of Falken Ziex street tires right now. I have no complaints, they weren't to expensive and seem to hook decently for a pure street tire.
This thread was perfect timing, I just scored some Steeda Ultralights cheap! They are 18x9 and I never thought I would run a 18" tire on my fox but the deal was too good to pass up. These will be going on the 93 GT so I will need something with some traction.
Yeah seriously, the 245s I had on some ponies and I abused em, drag raced every Fri and Tues night with em and they still looked brand new after a year. Real sticky on the street, did well in the rain and ok in the snow/slush. They were stolen after a little over a year of use. The 275s I had on some 17s held up to my HCI 302 really well on the street, spun 1st and part of 2nd but you were still moving if that makes sense. I sold those wheels and they are still serving the new owner quite well. I look forward to pickin up my 3rd set when the tires I got with my new ponies come apart Matt
I think I'll go ahead and try the KDW II's out. My car should be on the dyno this weekend getting tuned, so I'll go ahead and order them so I can switch them over. I'm going to try out my new line lock with the old nittos
