The bullits had NO drone before, but once i did the head swap right at 1800 where im always cruising drone is INSANE. Ive never been one to be bothered by drone, i had flowmasters before and I didnt even notice the drone, but this is some SERIOUS drone after the head swap. Definatly gets louder at the higher rpms though, gotta love it Im gonna stick it out with the bullits though, I really love them alot, the sound is just amazing, and after the head swap and with my cam, everytime the cam lopes its like a slap in the chest, its amazing.
The super 40s are actually louder than everyone makes them out to be with less drone, on my car ( i know its different than most other's on here) but it sounds wicked with the super 40s into side exits, super deep and very loud.
I run Ford racing ceramic coated shorty headers, Mac o/r X pipe and Flowmaster american thunder catback...I think the car sounds great. Agreed with the superturbos, they sound good but they are just not that loud. And Flowmasters FTW!! IMO, Flowmasters give our cars that distinctive mustang tone, which of course you cant go wrong with
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v310/trey88/?action=view¤t=1.flv Mac mufflers, vrs o/r xpipe, mac shorty unequal headers. Sounds good and different than all the typical flow stangs around here.. If you want one running through the gears WOT I've got something I think, if not I'll be glad to make one lol.
I'm a fabricator at StainlessWorks, and I've have spintechs, all kinds of flowmasters, dynomax, cheap crap, and sampled all SW has to offer. And out of all of them, dynomax race bullets for max performance, flowmaster for a great tone and performance. Bassani street comps are expensive, but its what i would have on a 5.0.
Heres a soundclip basically, it's a vid, but my camera is a pos and the lens craps out on me sometimes, but the sound is there. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v310/trey88/?action=view¤t=2.flv
