Hi - I want to use a fuse instead of the fusible link that comes with the DC Controller - anyone know what the fusible link is rated at? I have the FK-35.

    Thanks

This is something I'd want to talk to Brian about. You might find you smoke fuses (a catridge might have a chance, but I'd still worry about heat and longevity under load. A Maxi might be able to hold up but I'd wonder how it will do in the long run).

I think Brian uses the link for a reason (Because of their ability to handle bursts of current. And IIRC he even uses a special type of link - it's not the stuff from the parts store).

The controller is technically rated at 35 amps.
