wash the car? who has time for that?

i just use an old towel, but it leaves some spots. still looks a whole lot better than before i started tho because it is usually a few weeks between washings.

i'm gonna look into the microfiber thing

I've been using a california water blade for over 2 years and am scratch free. The thing is AWESOME and I would recommend it to anyone. Just make sure you keep it clean, as trapping fine dirt / sand particles in the silicone blade will definately scratch. I put mine back in the package it came in after I use it.

That's what I use, and I've had the same one for 5 years now, still holdin up fine. One of the best things I have bought detailing-wise.

They have them at Advance Auto Parts, and I would imagine other parts stores like AutoZone, Pep Boys, Napa, etc will also have them. I can't remember how much I paid for mine, cuz it was a long time ago, but I'm thinkin between $10-$15?

As one wipes a drying-car off, it can help get rid of setting-spotting to use some QD as you dry.

I just use a reaular chamois. I spent $20 on a water blade and absolutely hated it. Its very hard to get on all of the curves on the car. I believe I would like it on a car with minimal body curves though.

This is true... I love doing my F-150 with it... I can get the whole truck in 6-7 swipes; I feel like a window washer.
