Is a $100 good for a 302, C4, and the rear axle out of a 69 mustang. The guy is not for sure if the moter runs or not. Also how do you tell if the engine is a 302 and not a 289?
Sounds fair to me. I paid $200 for a '68 dated 302 & C4. But mine was disassembled so I knew it didn't have any major damage, and that it still had the stock bore. I also made sure the heads were correct and not from the '70's. That's the key is just making sure they're rebuildable; it's always a gamble on used stuff.
