Im not looking to sell it, but was just wondering what it was worth for insurance purposes cause Im looking at getting better insurance for it. Here it is. 1986 mustang coupe originally 111k on body and was v6 auto car Has been converted to 302 and t5 along with 8.8 rear Has brand new paint. Competition orange professionaly done very nice! Engine bay and jambs all done. Has new carpet, 99 cloth seats with halo headrests, has center console, 140mph speedo cluster which is rare, good dash pad, nice pioneer stereo and speakers, new rear carpet, new headliner, really nice interior overall. grey interior with black seats and accents. Body consists of 85-86 gt front bumper cover with no cracks whatsover, harwood bolt on 2.5" cowl hood, nice restored tailights, no dents completely straight, new weatherstripping, all the chrome has been cleaned and polished up and has good trim, paint is 04 cobra competition orange with clear coat and is really nice. Suspension consists of c springs, mm tubular lowers, fms uppers, 8.8 rear with 3.73's and good traclock, has draglites all the way around with all new tires, new struts and shocks and new bushings, has new brakes all around too. All stock stuff though. Drivetrain consists of brand new 302 with around 6k on the motor now. Its a 302 .040 over with summit rebuild kit, trickflow stage one cam, gt40p heads, getting air gap intake and trick flow valve springs in next couple weeks for it,polished valve covers, 3g 160amp alternator, bbk chrome shorties, full msd setup, holley 650dp,k&n,taylor wires, canton 7qt pan,off road h-pipe,flowmasters, runs really strong and should be good for some 12's with good tires Has t5 in it with everything done right, new clutch, upr shifter, etc... I think the only thing bad about it is that its originally a v6 car and not a 5.0 car. OTherwise everything is basically new and done right. Heres some pics of it. Let me know what you think of it also. Thanks
86 did, i drove it to my house did a burnout in the garage and then proceeded to take it out and throw it away.
If it was mine, I would insure it for ~17,000. Thats about what it would cost you to redo it. Hows it run with the P heads???
Runs good really, just need to get it on some good tires and learn how to drive it. I dont have nearly that much in it, but I guess thats a good thing. Most of the stuff was reusable from my capri that got totalled.
