I am having some trouble deciding which way I want to go with my wheels and trying to decide between chrome, hypercoated or anthricate.

My Mustang is a 2003 Tropic Green GT convertible, here is a pic:

Currently I have two directions I could go:

    1) 18x9 & 18x10 FR500's in chrome, hypercoat or anthricate, 01 Cobra front bumper, Cervini 03/04 Cobra heat extractor hood, 03/04 Cobra rocker panels, side mirrors, spoiler and rear bumper...there would be nothing that said COBRA or cobra emblems.

    2) 18x9 & 18x10 anthricate bullitt wheels, chin spoiler, either a shaker hood setup or a Steeda cowl hood, 03/04 Cobra rocker panels, side mirrors and rear spoiler, I would stick with the GT rear bumper if I went this direction.

I am torn on which direction to go and if I go with option one which finish on the FR500s I should go with. Chrome I think would look really good but it may be a little flashy for my taste.

I am also torn on sticking with the tan convertible top or replacing it with a black top. Replacing the top is on the agenda no matter which way I go.

If I stick with the tan top I will be purchasing a set of 2001 Cobra seats and having them redone to look like either the Bullitt or Mach seats just in parchment leather.

If I go with the black top I will swap out the interior for a dark charcoal setup with either Bullitt or Mach seats, however I would have to get my rear seat redone to match as neither the Bullitt or Mach had a convertible version.

If I go with option one I will do a 4V swap with a all aluminum NA big bore setup (although there are also thoughts of going with a iron big bore boss block and a Kenne Bell to top it off).

If I go with option two I would stay 2V with a all aluminum big bore, TFS heads and intake (as above I am still thinking about a boss block and a Kenne Bell with TFS heads).

The car has been paid off and I really do not want to trade it in on another and start over with payments. With these two plans I can taylor it to what I like and be much happier with the end result.

So weigh in with your opinion Stangnet, I am interested to see which direction you suggest.

    Sorry about that.

After thinking about it more though I think I have come up with the setup I want.

    Exterior:

Mach 1 hood and shaker system
    03/04 Cobra side mirrors
    03/04 Cobra rocker panels
03/04 Cobra deck lid and spoiler
    FR500 Hypercoated 18x9 and 18x10 wheels

    Interior:

Bullitt\Mach seats, not sure on color as of yet

    Engine/Driveline:

    5.4L DOHC
    Ported heads
    Custom cams
    T-56
    3.73 gears

    Suspension:

Full Maximum Motorsports setup with coilovers.

All thats left is to get started.

Sounds like your worrying too much about it. I would recommend starting with the wheels and then deciding what you want to do.

I have felt the same way in the past but i learned that really there is no point in trying to plan everything out all at once because chances are you will change your mind down the road anyway.

If i had a tropic green mustang, and i was dead set on 18's (i prefer 17's), i would put silver 03/04 cobras or saleens on it....
