I cannot find a 1" thick hub-centric or lug-centric type (NHRA legal and non-bolton type) wheel spacer in order to use 15"x3.5" Weld front runners and clear upgraded 13" Cobra brakes on my '99 GT. I would rather not grind the stock studs as required for the bolt-on type, and would rather replace them with the 3.5" ARP studs. I already tried the 1.5" thick bolt-on type, but they make the wheels stick out too much.
Is there such a spacer available or does everyone just grind the studs and use the bolt-on type with longer studs?
