Thanks so much for the advice. I plan on getting the offroad pipe in about 3 weeks so I'll let you know how it sounds.
H or X? and if you dont have a tuner, you will also need MIL eliminators. i suggest calling brenspeed for a good deal on the X or H. http://www.brenspeed.com heres a link directly to the midpipe page.... http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/midpipes.html
Thanks for the link. Question about the tuner: If I have my pipes and or CAI put on by a performance shop can they flash the computer with a custom tune for the parts I have them put on with their own tuner so I don't have to buy one? So for instance if I have them put on a new h-pipe - Can they do a one time tune to turn off the o2 censors? and then another one if at a later date I have them install a CAI?
not that i know of, but i have heard weird stories about tuners trying to sell tunes without buying any equipment the CAI will require a tune anyway, so you might as well buy one sooner or later. if you get the exhaust, the cheap way to go is with the MIL eliminators, that way you dont have shell out $379 for the tuner.
Will be looking forward to it, and also let us know, if there's any difference in performance as well... Thanks
