Which color is this?

Hey everybody, I just bought a 94 GT a couple months ago, and theres a couple very small chips in the paint next to the tail light that I want to touch up. The paint code on in the door is ZF, but all I could find on that was a couple variantions of white. Ive tried looking on different forums to find a color that matched with no luck. Can anyone help me identify the color of it? Also, in certain light and at dusk it has a slight purple tint to it.

it almost looks like the car was painted and is not a stock color. do you still have any contact info for the person from whom you bought the car? i would contact them to see if he has any info.

Ya, that would probably work lol. I just sent him a text, hopefully he knows because the little chips are killing me.

Looks like sapphire just seems slightly brighter

The guy I bought it from textd me back and said it was Dayton Blue off Infinity cars. That explains why I couldnt find the color. I was thinking the same thing about the Sapphire color as well.

Sapphire has more of a purple hue to it

Im pretty sure that car was built around the Chicago area...at least I have seen one just like it

I don't think I've ever seen a bright blue Infiniti?

EDIT: There was a DaytonA blue used on 350Zs, though...that's probably what it is.

Ya, I live in Minooka right outside Joliet and I bought it from a guy in New Lenox. It could very well be the one youve seen.
