Father is going to look at an 88 GT 5spd car. he isnt a big fan of driving sticks(he's 55yrs old, and tired of shifting he says.)
If he doesnt like the 5 speed, is it any harder to swap to an AOD, than it is to a 5 speed?

Its easy to swap an auto in. Just need flex plate and tranny.

    Computer too

It's not any harder...you just gotta gather parts. At least you don't have to swap pedals. You can just unhook the clutch pedal or just let it be.

yep, definitely would rather have the pedal part already done that is the only really annoying part about the swap.....
i tell you the hardest thing is making a aod fast...lol jk i know there are some built aods runing out there.....
why not keep looking aod cars are usually cheaper and usually less beat on.... emphasis on usually which is almost a rarely but you understand
