Heads?? I wouldn't waste my time with a bigger cam unless you had bigger heads or at least ported and polished E7's. Do the cam and heads at the same time, you will crap your pants the first time you drive it. Then you will get used to it and want a supercharger.
Sorry I forgot to inclued the home ported E7s. I have a B in there now and I am not all that impressed,and I have heard talk about e and was just curios about the 2
I wouldn't expect much HP from either of those cams with your current combo. Even if your E7's were done as good as Power Heads, they are still the bottle neck. My suggestion is, keep the B cam in there until you can get some heads and then switch to an E cam or maybe a custom cam.
Hey I understand completely. I want to swap my cam big time to get a nice lope, but I know it will hurt more than it will help at this stage. I need heads too, don't feel bad.
Every dyno test I've seen showed the E cam at least 10 rwhp above the B. Everyone I know with an E loves it. I'm sure the B has it's advantages, I just don't know what they are.
