I have a great photo shop from Euphoric with 2003 cobra rims on my car. I have determined that Rims will be my next big mod. I'll be switching out to 5-lug at the same time and I am pretty sure that I will need to run the SN 94/5 spindle to make everything fit up front. But then I see that you can get the rims in 4 lug, suggesting that they fit the standard Fox spindle. Anyone know? At the same time, I'll be converting to 4 wheel disks (for the bling factor.)
That is the question... Baer kits use a Fox spindle and the others use the SN spindles. I will switch to 5 lug, but wanted to know if I can still use the Fox spindle that comes in the Baer kits.
Strothfuss - the 03/04 Cobra center cap should clear clear the snout on the stock fox spindle (or modified Baer for that matter). I would double check with PIMTOUT as he ran them in 4 lug. At worst, you may have to hammer or remove the dustcap on the snout of the stock or baer spindle. If you have a 03/04 wheel (or access) then just put a stock fox rotor in it with the dustcap on and see if it clears the center cap. If you intend to do a brake upgrade then I would certainly look into the 94/95 spindle as it will allow more options for other wheels in the future (FR500s, Bullitts, 98 Cobras, etc.).
