I own an 05' GT, stick no mods yet and want to know what the best cure for wheel hop would be? I have already tried traction control on and off, off seems to help a little but still get wheel hop, even in the rain.
I have heard that once you add a tune and CAI it is less of a problem due to more power = more wheel spin, I have also heard that LCA's would cure the problem. Any input from someone with same problem and either of these mods? Did it help / cure problem?
    Thanks

I recommend the BMR upper and lower control arms for the rear end.

Go buy yourself a set of lower control arms. I had wicked wheel hop, and after replacing the lcas it launches smooth as silk :)

More power causes less wheel hop? is that true? When I added more power to mine it had crazy wheel hop. I solved the problem by easing into the throttle and mashing it when I felt it catch traction. Of course a set of control arms would make it all disappear. When I drove my friends stock 05, I didnt even notice it. I would think with a higher torque curve it would not be as noticeable as my 5.0 which had insane wheel hop, especially with 4.10's.

Thanks for the input, sounds like I need to purchase the LCA's once I start modding. Anthony 05 GT any pics of your car? It sounds very interesting.

More torque = more wheel hop (also depends on the stickiness of the tires). When I had the 4.10s and Steeda Pulleys installed, I hopped on 1st AND 2nd gear.

Did you ever resolve the wheel hop you are getting or just living with it. If you corrected it, what did you add?

I will be ordering the BMR Lower Control Arms with poly bushings along with the relocation brackets soon. This should take care of my wheel hop.

LCA's off ebay cured mine. The price was right also and no squeaks either.
